Who doesn’t know the name Bernard Hinault? One of cycling’s legendary heroes most of us still remember seeing on a bike. His temper was also legendary, the gentle, available man Hinault is today does not resemble the cyclist he was one bit. To this day he remains the last Frenchmen to have won the Tour de France. He did so that year on a bike bearing his name, at the same time revolutionizing the sport (1985) by being the first ever to race with the famous Look brand pedals inspired by the fixations skiers use.

You can now own a bike with the Hinault name on it. The “Avantime” is a full carbon frame available in 4 sizes: small, medium, large and extra large. The geometry is sloping and it handles great in all sorts of races and rides. Weighing in at 1250 grams it is light enough to give you that edge in hilly rides or competitions, whereas the stiffness of this good looking frame allows you to corner hard in criterium type races.

You have a choice of forks, either the regular Hinault fork, suited for cyclo-tourism, or the Easton EC90 fork, stiff and light, the perfect pick for competitive cyclists.

The frame set comes with a headset and Hinault carbon seat post. We can of course deliver any parts you would like with it.
